Complete overhaul of my scene.
Whats Left:
Poseidon's Head and tentacles, The Throne, Railings, Banners.
I like the lighting currently, I made add some interest to the water below, it's a little too flat.

Old project, going back and fixing everything. So far I've touched up the chains and side pillars. I'm probably going to get rid of the shells, I just don't like them at all.

The lighting is rather blown out a bit on the pillars, that was just because I was testing to make sure the metal material was reading the way I wanted it to.

Finally got some time to start.

First I'm testing my modular wall texture to make sure it will accomplish everything I need it to do once I start beveling out the wall geometry.

Second I went in and did basic forms for the pillar/ceiling trim areas to get an idea of which linework I liked best from the concept. I think I'm going to carry the 3 repeating edges motif throughout the environment.

Currently I'm starting on the bigger rubble pieces of the piles. My goal is to stay fast and loose, no more than 1-2 hours on each rock just to make sure I focus on the shape language of the rocks rather than the details.

For the rocks I'm baking a normal and doing a quick cavity/diffuse overlay because I need to make sure the silhouette maintains on the low poly. After that I'm setting them down and moving on. I'll revisit them later when I'm ready to start the main detail of my scene.

Once the rocks are fleshed out I'm going to start on the main walkway/trim and stairs.

Starting new project, going to try a new workflow to see if my speed increases.
Blockout is in UDK with just white lights.
One has it where the doorway and main stairs are larger, receiving more of the focal point.
The other one has a smaller stair/doorway, so the statues on the side will receive more of the focal point.
